Jason Hartley is lecturer in criminology at Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia. He is a former police officer with 23 years of experience, and has trained personnel for deployment in Timor Leste, the Solomon Islands, Iraq and Afghanistan. Jason specializes in, and has published on engagement with Muslim communities, Indigenous Polynesian approaches to rehabilitation and reducing recidivism, and Asian Organised Crime. Jason also completed a community internship in Hebron on the West Bank.

Global Leadership Institute provides professional development opportunities for staff, including support for staff to undertake further study and present papers at conferences, as well as hosting professional workshops.

Partnerships
Global Leadership Institute partners with Research and Policy House which is a global think tank that engages widely with decision-makers from government, businesses, the not-for-profit sector, and communities to create impact policy in the larger interest of the society. The objective is to influence the formulation of a progressive and result-oriented-policy for the greater good of the society.

Global Leadership Institute’s digital library exists to provide staff and students with access to resources for learning, teaching, research, and scholarship. Using the Liberty Software platform, you can access thousands of online resources, journal databases, and eBooks through EBSCO and ProQuest.
