Driving and road use is a significant part of human life and business. Many people rely on private road transport for work and recreation. Trucks deliver our produce and consumer goods. However, dangerous road use causes considerable harm. This unit examines successful road safety strategies and measures such as road design, traffic rules, and speed management to ensure best practices in reducing road trauma in urban, regional and remote communities. The aim of the unit is to assist students in developing best practice road safety policy.
