MPL402 Community Policing and Public Order
Contemporary society faces a diversity of politically polarised challenges that impact public order stability from protest movements such as COVID pandemic anti-vaccinators to climate change activists. This unit examines the principles, characteristics, and qualities of contemporary public order community policing leadership in law enforcement and emergency management. The aim of the unit is to prepare students to meet these contemporary challenges in a future leadership role equipped with the necessary leadership attributes to mentor others and deliver effective public order policing within the contexts of law enforcement and emergency services.
